MÁLAGA: THE EMERGING CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND ART

The relaxed Málaga offers sun, beaches, good fish and charming little streets in the historic centre, besides being worldwide recognized for its history, culture and art.

In recent years this 3,000 years old coastal city, has invested in the art scene, with spectacular results. The Picasso Museum, with more than 200 artworks by the acclaimed local painter, and the Carmen Thyssen Museum, which explores the landscapes and the Andalusian culture, are relatively new. On top of that, in 2015 they opened the first Centre Pompidou outside France and a branch from State Russian Museum in an old converted cigarette factory.

If you combine the traditional charms of Málaga- the sea food, tapas, the beer on the beach or the views from the XIV century Castle of Gibralfaro – with the  art galleries and the renovated port, you will find a great city break.

Finally, this city is the entrance to the famous Costa del Sol and its many resorts and tourist attractions including the world famous Marbella and Fuengirola area.
