DIGITAL SMILE DESIGN

Digital Smile Design will allow you to see how your smile will look like before starting treatment.

The DSD is the most modern digital process for dental aesthetics, that allows to literally design the smile of a person. To take into account facial and dental characteristics, photos and videos of the mouth are taken first. Once this process is complete, these images are fed into a program that converts them into editable parameters. From there, the dentist will "design" the outline of the ideal smile, obtaining the treatment necessary to achieve this.

One of the great advantages offered by the DSD is that you will be able to see how your smile will look like, so you can make any changes you wish before starting the treatment. This process helps us improve aesthetical treatments, having the latest state of the art technology to achieve the best results.

Thanks to Digital Smile Design we can improve the aesthetic treatment planning and the final result, which will help you get exactly the smile you want.

CAD/CAM TECHNOLOGY

The design and manufacture by computer offers an unsurpassed quality and precision when a perfect fit each tooth.

We've spent years using CAD / CAM technology, a highly accurate system that allows us to work on the design and computer-aided manufacturing, for greater accuracy and aesthetic treatments.

This technology allows to create a 3D model of the mouth, from which we design a smile. The interesting thing about this three-dimensional reconstruction is that it allows the patient to see what the final result of the implant will be before starting treatment.

Once completed the 3D reconstruction, a high precision milling machine is responsible for creating crowns (artificial teeth) from a block of biocompatible material.

The CAD / CAM technology helps us dramatically reduce manufacturing time reducing delays, and gives us a higher efficiency in treatments

COMPOSITE / PORCELAIN VENEERS

Carilla DentalKeep your teeth, implementing an outer sheet to correct various factors, either aesthetic or functional.

Porcelain veneers or composite (also called ceramic facets or laminate fronts) are sheets that adhere to the outer surface of the tooth and allow us to improve the aesthetics of a piece that could have had changes in colour, shape and or size, that have occurred as a result of stains, defects or fractures.

Dental Veneers allow us to give the desired colour and shape to our natural teeth. The difference between the two materials resides in the durability of the material and the reversible nature of the treatment. Composite veneers do not alter the natural tooth making this treatment reversible, while porcelain veneers require tooth preparation and are therefore a permanent solution. Moreover porcelain veneers, even if it is a permanent treatment, can be modified or replaced over time to fit the wishes of the patient.

In some cases we can rehabilitate the entire mouth with veneers and onlays on order to be more conservative with the teeth. This is a good solution for patients with stained teeth, teeth who have suffered a change in colour or anatomy. This treatment allows for the improvement of the aesthetics of the teeth, but also has a functionality closing unwanted gaps between teeth preventing the accumulation of food scraps in places of difficult to access in our daily hygiene.

TEETH WHITENING

Regain radiant and natural look of your teeth with outpatient treatment in a few steps.

Tooth whitening can correct the colour of stained or yellow teeth, resulting in a whiter and brighter smile.

The normal wear over the years, habits like smoking or drinking too much coffee, foods with dyes, some antibiotics or inadequate hygiene can cause stains on teeth, colour shades or tarnishing in the long term.

Tooth whitening is applying a hydrogen peroxide gel on the tooth, and with the help a light it accelerates the whitening process. The results of this treatment are already noticeable after a single session, although depending on the characteristics of the case the teeth may require more than one
