TIBIDABO, THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN

If you are looking for history, nature and fun you will find it in the route to Tibiado. Although you can do this route by car, the traditional and recommended way is through the Tranvía Azul. This is a tram route that runs since 1901, is the only survivor from the old tramline of Barcelona. Take a tour of 1276 meters from Avinguda Tibidabo to the top of the magic mountain. From the Windows of the tram you will be able to admire the modern and 90th century buildings until you merge with the nature to conquer the views from the highest point. After this route the fun starts. Here you will find the Tibidabo Amusement Park, a century-old park that opened in 1901 with more than 25 attractions, shows, entertainment, restaurants, picnic areas and with the best panoramic views of the entire city.

Located in the centre of the old city, they sowed the first seeds of the success and recognition of Catalan cuisine. Places of culinary cult enthusiastically welcomed by the emerging bourgeoisie.

A great way to travel to the past is to sit at the table of some of the restaurants that still survive over time. Survivors of an era where intellectuals and artists bourgeoisie shared a table.
